What We Do

Yes 4 Youth.

We make connections between corporate business and the youth who are in need of bursary funding. We do this by identifying and screening all potential bursary candidates and facilitate the connection between bursary holders and corporate businesses.

We achieve this by expanding across multiple programmes such as bursaries, learnerships, Yes 4 Youth and FH College. Our focus is to provide the resources our youth requires to achieve their dreams.

Learnerships

Skills Development

Accredited certificate in New Venture Creation (NQF 2 or 4) and Red Band acts as the host employer by placing leaners in Red Band coffee bars.

Yes 4 Youth

This is a new part to the BBBEE scored which allows the corporate to gain a extra level on their scored if they buy into the yes for youth program.

Redband Academy

We recruit candidates who have all been interviewed by us. Each candidate will be hosted at our Red Band academy and Red Band coffee bar's.

FH College

In 2019 we launched a pilot project called FH College. This is a training ground for people to go into Africa to spread The Gospel, but not as a traditional ''missionary'.

Pastoral

With Pastoral learnership, we provide training in the areas of general church ministry.  This training involves: how to read the Bible, how to pray for someone, how to bring someone to salvation, how to run a mid-week group, etc.
The training also involves training in Theology – both on a simple level, but also on a more in- depth level through the expounding of scripture and how to interpret the bible.
 
As with any church, there are behind-the-scenes operations. We will look at how the operations of a church function and run. We will have specialised focus in ministry departments and areas such as Kid’s Church, Sermon preparation, Preaching, Running bible studies, and so forth.
 
We have an online church community which is a dynamic and growing space. We will be offering training in online church pastoring – equipping people on how to do this, what is entailed in Church planting, and how to do this. The final outcome:  We want participants in the Learnership to be equipped to be employed at a church within a specific pastoral ministry and or area.

Barista Entrepreneurship

Pour coffee 
This is a specialised course that focuses on:
The operations of managing and running a coffee bar 
Stock control, 
Marketing 
Small business financial management 
 
Participants will also be equipped within general church ministry: How to read the bible, pray for someone, lead someone to salvation, run a ‘midweek group’, and so on.
 
Our aim for each participant in this specific learnership is that they would be able to own and run a coffee bar, either within the Red Band Coffee Franchise or their own coffee bar.
